Welcome

It is a pleasure to share with you my work as a nature photographer. I have always loved being out in nature and the peace and tranquility that I found there. Something happens when we spend time in the outdoors in quiet spaces where we find fresh air, sunshine, babbling brooks, soft breezes, and the sounds of birds singing, deer snorting, or the rush of the understory as little critters move about. When I am hiking toward a waterfall and begin to hear the water flowing, my excitement begins to mount as the sound grows.  

 

My work is presented with the hope that it conveys to the observer the serenity that we all seek in our lives. Today’s culture brings with it many interruptions that can interfere with the inner stillness where we can think and create. In our home, we have a great deal of art that depicts the natural world. We appreciate quiet times with the fire blazing, soft music playing, and a hot beverage in front of our beloved artistic pieces. Perhaps you can visualize quiet moments like this as you view my art.
